    First, many thanks to Jenny Plant for leading last week's #MedComms webinar. Research carried out by Frederick Reichheld of Bain and Co (the inventor of the net promoter score) showed that increasing your client retention rate by as little as 5 percent can increase profits by between 25 to 95 percent. Couple that with the fact it's five to twenty five times cheaper to grow existing clients rather than get new clients and you have a very compelling case to have a strategy in place to develop an agency's existing client base. Once again, we had a great discussion directed by the audience on the day, and once again if you missed the event you can now watch the recording for free, any time, from wherever you are.     Now, tomorrow, we've our 'Grand Finale' of the 2019 webinars (don't worry, we're back in 2020). We'll meet with the Publishers, and specifically we'll be joined by Caroline Halford (Springer Healthcare), Hamish McDougall (SAGE Publishing), Jonathan Patience (Taylor and Francis) and Joanne Walker (Future Science Group). That should be fun.

  • Prime Global has been ranked as one of the UK's fastest growing private companies, for the second year running, in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Award!

  • Oxford PharmaGenesis Arrives in Cambridge - Oh, Cambridge. How do we kick start some local MedComms Networking activity there? I've tried but so far failed to achieve traction... Anyone?

  • Finally and most importantly, our end-of-year meeting is next week in London on 10 December, hosted by Stgilesmedical. We'd love to see you there. Involving patients in research and medical writing features some impressive speakers and we're gathering an interesting crowd. After last year's packed house we've moved into the church next door, so we've plenty of room. Please, everyone, join us.
